Steering Rack Repair in Dubai
Identify and resolve steering problems: “tak-tak” noise when steering, vibrations, play, power-steering fluid leaks and loss of steering assistance
Pick-up and recovery available on request.
The steering rack turns your input at the wheel into movement at the wheels. When it wears, you notice: a knocking “tak-tak” when turning, play around the centre, vibration, fluid under the car, or steering that suddenly feels heavy. We diagnose hydraulic and electric (EPS) steering systems, and repair or replace the rack depending on its condition.
Steering faults rarely fix themselves, and a small leak or knock usually gets worse. Acting early often means a reseal or a tie-rod replacement instead of a complete rack. For electric systems, a correct diagnosis separates sensor and software faults from mechanical wear, so you replace only what has failed.

Questions
Can a steering rack be repaired, or does it need replacing?
Many leaks and wear problems can be repaired by resealing and replacing worn parts. If the housing or gear is damaged, replacement is the safer option. We tell you which after inspection.
Is it safe to drive with a power-steering leak?
Not for long. Low fluid damages the pump and can make the steering heavy without warning. Check the level and book an inspection.
Why does my steering knock at low speed?
Typical causes are worn tie-rod ends, rack bushes or internal play in the rack. We isolate the part on the lift.
