Alfa Romeo Repair & Service in Dubai

Giulia, Stelvio, 4C and classic Alfas — Giorgio platform, Quadrifoglio V6 and twin-cam classics

Modern Alfa Romeos are built on the Giorgio platform (Giulia and Stelvio): rear- or all-wheel drive, a 2.0 turbo four-cylinder or the 2.9 twin-turbo V6 of the Quadrifoglio, and a ZF 8-speed automatic. The 4C is a different car altogether: a carbon tub, a mid-mounted 1750 turbo and a dual-clutch gearbox. Classic Alfas — 105-series Giulia, Spider, GTV — are a large part of our restoration work.

Bella Motor is an independent workshop, founded by an Italian engineer. We are not an Alfa Romeo dealer and not authorised by Alfa Romeo.

Pick-up and recovery available on request.

[ ALFA ROMEO — PLATFORM & ENGINEERING NOTES ]

2.0 turbo and 2.9 V6 Quadrifoglio

The 2.0 turbo uses electro-hydraulic valve actuation (MultiAir). The actuator unit is sensitive to oil quality and level, so oil grade and interval matter. The Quadrifoglio’s 2.9 twin-turbo V6 uses cylinder deactivation and runs hot. Turbo coolant lines, ignition coils and plugs are our usual checks.

Integrated brake system

Giulia and Stelvio use an integrated brake system (brake-by-wire unit combining the booster and ESC). Brake fluid changes and bleeding follow a specific procedure using diagnostics. A brake-system warning should never be ignored.

ZF 8-speed and Q4

The ZF 8-speed is robust; we check fluid and adaptation. Q4 all-wheel-drive versions add a transfer case with an active coupling to the front axle, with its own fluid.

4C

The 4C’s carbon tub and composite body change how it is lifted and repaired. Its dual-clutch gearbox (TCT) needs its own fluid and adaptation. Front-end and side-intake PPF is recommended because composite panels are not repaired like steel.

Classic Alfas

105-series Giulia, Spider and GTV use the twin-cam four-cylinder with chain-driven cams and Weber or Dell’Orto carburettors (or SPICA injection on some US cars). Rust repair, carburettor balancing and correct paint colours are typical restoration items.

[ FAQ ]

Questions

Which oil does a Giulia 2.0 need?

One that meets the specification for the engine. Oil level and quality also protect the MultiAir valve actuator, so we do not stretch the interval in Dubai heat.

Why does my Giulia show a brake system warning?

It can be a sensor, low fluid or a fault in the integrated brake unit. It needs a diagnostic scan before driving further.

Do you restore classic Alfas?

Yes. Bodywork, rust repair, paint, mechanicals and carburettor set-up on 105-series and later classics.

Is a 4C hard to repair?

It is different: carbon tub and composite panels. Many repairs are possible, but they follow material-specific methods. PPF is a sensible precaution.

Are you an Alfa Romeo dealer?

No. Bella Motor is an independent workshop, not affiliated with or authorised by Alfa Romeo.
