Rolls-Royce Repair & Service in Dubai
V12 engines, self-levelling air suspension, coach doors and hand-finished interiors — repaired with care for weight, silence and finish
Since the 2003 Phantom, Rolls-Royce has been built in Goodwood with BMW Group engineering underneath. The Phantom VII used a naturally aspirated 6.75 V12. Ghost I, Wraith and Dawn use a 6.6 twin-turbo V12. Phantom VIII, Cullinan and Ghost II use a 6.75 twin-turbo V12 on an aluminium spaceframe. The engineering is familiar to us. What changes is the weight, the insulation and the finish expected.
Bella Motor is an independent workshop. We are not a Rolls-Royce dealer and not authorised by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

V12 engines
The twin-turbo V12s have the turbos inside the V, so heat ages injectors, ignition coils, valve-stem seals and coolant lines in the valley. A slight misfire on a V12 is easy to miss by feel, but it shows in the misfire counters. We read them at every visit.
Air suspension
All modern Rolls-Royces use self-levelling air suspension. Later cars add a camera that reads the road ahead (Flagbearer) and, on Ghost II, the Planar system. Air springs and the compressor are age and heat items. A car sitting low after parking, or a slow rise on start-up, points to a leak.
Gearbox
The ZF 8-speed automatic is used across the range. On Wraith, Dawn and later cars it uses satellite navigation to pre-select gears before corners. Fluid is long-life, but we check level and condition at the right temperature on every major service.
Doors, roof and Spirit of Ecstasy
Power-closing coach doors, umbrella mechanisms, the starlight headliner (fibre optics) and the retractable Spirit of Ecstasy all have motors, sensors and wiring. Sand and humidity interfere with them. Most faults are electrical connections or sensors, not the mechanism itself.
Paint, hide and veneer
Rolls-Royce paint is deep and multi-layer, often two-tone with a hand-painted coachline. Correction is done slowly, measured panel by panel, and coachlines are masked. Hide and veneer are cleaned with pH-neutral products only.
What we check
- Misfire counters, injectors and coils on V12
- Air springs and compressor
- Coach-door closers and door sensors
- Battery and standby consumption
- Paint thickness and coachline condition
- Hide condition on driver’s bolster

Questions
My Cullinan sits low on one side after parking. What is it?
Usually an air spring or line leak. We pressurise and leak-test the system before replacing parts.
Can the starlight headliner be repaired if some stars stop working?
Often yes. The fault is usually the light source or a connection rather than the fibre optics themselves. We diagnose before removing the headliner.
Can you polish a two-tone car with a coachline?
Yes. The coachline is masked and the paint corrected panel by panel, with thickness readings throughout.
Do you work on classic Rolls-Royces?
Yes — Silver Shadow, Silver Spirit and Corniche recommissioning and restoration.
Are you a Rolls-Royce dealer?
No. Bella Motor is an independent workshop, not affiliated with or authorised by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
