Dodge Repair & Service in Dubai

Challenger, Charger, Durango and Viper — HEMI and Hellcat V8s, ZF-based 8-speed gearboxes and widebody builds

Most Dodges we see are LX/LA-platform Challengers and Chargers, plus the Durango SRT. They run 5.7 or 6.4 (392) HEMI V8s or the supercharged 6.2 Hellcat, with a ZF-based 8-speed automatic or a Tremec manual. They are heavy, powerful cars that Dubai owners like to modify, so performance, cooling and brakes are a large part of the work.

Bella Motor is an independent workshop. We are not a Dodge dealer and not authorised by Dodge or Stellantis.

Pick-up and recovery available on request.

[ DODGE — PLATFORM & ENGINEERING NOTES ]

HEMI tick

The 5.7 and 6.4 HEMI with MDS (cylinder deactivation) are known for lifter roller failure and camshaft lobe wear. It starts as a tick and becomes a misfire. Long idling and stretched oil intervals make it worse. We confirm it with misfire counters and inspection, and replace lifters and camshaft together when needed.

Hellcat supercharged V8

The 6.2 supercharged HEMI runs a large supercharger with its own intercooler circuit. In Dubai heat, intercooler coolant condition, pump function and the supercharger belt and tensioner matter. Many cars are modified (pulleys, tunes), which raises cooling and fuel demands.

8-speed automatic and differential

The ZF-designed 8-speed (TorqueFlite 8HP70/8HP90) is robust. Fluid level and condition are checked at temperature. Rear-differential whine on high-power cars can come from wear or from the wrong fluid. We check before replacing.

Brakes and weight

A Challenger weighs around 1.9–2.1 tonnes. Brembo brakes on SRT models wear quickly with hard use. Pads, discs and brake fluid are checked at every service, and more often with drag-strip use.

Widebody and wraps

Widebody kits, wraps and colour changes are common on Challengers and Chargers. We fit body kits with paint matching and check the alignment and wheel-arch clearance for wider tyres.

[ FAQ ]

Questions

My Challenger has a tick that gets louder. Is it the HEMI tick?

Possibly. On MDS engines, a failing lifter roller is common. We read misfire counters and inspect before quoting.

Can you fit a widebody kit?

Yes, with paint matching, alignment checks and wheel-arch clearance for wider tyres.

My Hellcat runs hot in summer. What should be checked?

The intercooler coolant and pump, the radiator, fans and the supercharger belt. Modified cars need more cooling margin.

Do you work on modified Dodges?

Yes. We service and repair modified cars and are transparent about the risk a modification adds.

Are you a Dodge dealer?

No. Bella Motor is an independent workshop, not affiliated with or authorised by Dodge or Stellantis.
